During a press day with Donal I had the chance to shoot some pictures to promote his programme “World’s Toughest Towns”. He was at Discovery Channel’s offices in Chiswick Park, not exactly the grittiest location in the world, so I shot him in the underground car park there using a small flash to create a bit of drama.
A fun day photographing the very talented Italian singer Barbara D’Agostino. Her North London studio flat has all the essentials; kitchen, bed, sofa and an unfeasibly large grand piano. She wanted a variety of promotional shots ranging from seventies flower power to classic Audrey Hepburn. Barbara is currently performing around London with her music project Ray. This editorial photoshoot was with controversial geneticist Dr. Panos Zavos. Dr. Zavos claims to have perfected the process of cloning a human embryo. As much of what he does is deemed illegal by most countries, he practises in secrecy in the Middle East.
